Despite of the pandemic, Celebrity mom Marian Rivera has a lot of project offers that’s why she becomes busier.
Aubrey Carampel interviewed Marian Rivera on ’24 Oras’ Kapuso actress-entrepreneur shares about the expansion of her flower business. She really loves flowers since she was a child. And that’s why she come up with the idea of building a business about flowers. Her flower shop named ‘Flora Vida by Marian’
“I really love flowers since I was a child, my heart really belongs to flowers since before. These flower elements are always present in my life, the difference is just through expression, in clothes, dried flowers or home necessities. But still it is marked in my heart and in my mind since before.”
She expanded her business this time around, and it used to be just flowers. Her home collection, which includes furniture and home decor, was launched under the name Flora Vida Home. Her past travel abroad inspired the Kapuso Primetime Queen to build her business.
“It all started when I fell in love with this toile fabric that I saw in one of our trips to Europe years ago. Since I have always been attracted to delicate and elegant prints, I told myself that I would want to experience having these pieces in my home, and so I did. These have brought calming and soothing vibe that definitely brightened our home.”
Even if the fabrics they use is from Europe, the furnitures and attoman of Flora Vida Home are proudly Pinoy-made. It is made by the wood carvers from Laguna.
She also said that when it comes to the designs, she will consult it first with her husband Dingdong Dantes who have been her partner in delivering her products through dingdong.ph.
“He really wants to do it” Marian said. Sometimes he will ask me where is the destinations of the flowers. And he often suggested that he will deliver it by himself using dingdong.ph.
Despite of being busy as a businesswoman, she is still a hands on mom to her children, Sixto, the youngest one and Zia who’s the oldest.
The 36 years old celebrity momma was surprised about ate Zia’s wish. Aside of the wish about her family and friends to always stay safe from the pandemic, her other wish was she wants to have another sibling.
“She wished to have another sibling, a baby sister! Oh My God!” During, Zia’s birthday as well she wishes to have a baby sister, and Marian jokingly said, “Daddy! Mamaya gabi.. baby sister daw! Joke lang!”

Before Zia wished for a baby brother, it came true. Now a baby sister, let’s hope and pray with Zia to have her wish come true again.
