Jose en Maria’s Bonggang Villa!
Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera consider their new sitcom titled “Jose & Maria’s Bonggang Villa” as a dream come true.
The contract signing of the most awaited comeback of DongYan happened earlier today at Luxent Hotel.
It’s a dream come true for Dong Dantes and wife Marian Rivera to not only as lead but also co-produced their sitcom ‘Jose en Maria’s Bonggang Villa’
“Hindi lang siya isang trabaho or isang task as an actor, [It’s not only a job] it’s also very very personal for us kasi dream namin ‘to eh.” [It’s our dream.]”
“Bukod sa makasama namin ang isa’t isa ulit, dream din namin na makabilang sa isang show [We are excited not only because we are going to work together again but it’s a dream to be part of a show] na we are also a part of through co-producing and creating.” He said.
Marian also said that it’s a dream for her because it’s been awhile since she did a primetime show.
“Isa ‘tong pangarap samin lalo na sa akin kasi ang tagal ko ng hindi lumabas sa primetime so sabi ko kay Dong hindi ako makapaniwala totoo na ito na mangyayare na ito tapos pangarap ko talaga magkaroon ng sitcom kasama si Dong so ito na yung pangarap na ‘yun.”
[This project is one of my dreams because it’s been so long since i did a primetime show. I told Dong that i can’t believe this is true and it’s finally happening. It’s my dream to have a sitcom with Dong.]
Dong also shared where the idea of ‘Jose en Maria Bonggang Villa’ came from.“Nung nagsimula ang pandemic two years ago nag-simula kami mag-shoot ng small videos sa bahay na ang title ay “Jose at Maria” at doon ko na-realize grabe ang sarap talaga pa rin katrabaho ni Marian at ‘yun ‘yung palaging sinasabi ng maraming tao.”
[It all started during the pandemic two years ago. We started shooting small videos at home with the title ‘Jose en Maria’. And i realized how great it is to work again with Marian.]
Dong also shared that he reminisce working with Marian back in 2007.“At nagreminisce ako sa mga araw nung nakilala ko siya which was around 2007 sa ‘Marimar,’ sobrang professional, sobrang galing at kahit dun sa mini videos na ginagawa namin ganoon pa rin yung dedication niya.”
[I reminisce the days where i met her for the first time which was around 2007 during ‘Marimar.’ She’s so professional, so great and even in the mini videos we used to do she shows the same dedication.]
