American tv host and former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst dies January 30, 2020 after jumping from the 60 story luxury Orion Condominium in New York City.
Cheslie lives in the 9th floor of the condominium building, she was last seen on the 29th floor terrance before authority found her lifeless body in the 42nd street.
Cheslie left a note saying that she’s leaving everything to her mother, but it is not clear what made her took her own life.
Cheslie’s family confirmed the news in a statement release to the press. “In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie. Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined.
“Cheslie embodied love and served others, whether through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as Miss USA and as a host on Extra. But most importantly, as a daughter, sister, friend, mentor and colleague — we know her impact will live on.”
Cheslie was one of the members of the Miss Universe 2021 selection committee with Marian Rivera. They have become friends and exchange message through instagram even after the Miss Universe.
Our hearts goes out to Cheslie and her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
