Marian Rivera says that it is just a bonus that her GMA series Super Ma’am is a big hit. It’s more important to her that when she sees people in public, they call her Super Ma’am.
“Nakakakilig ‘yon! Nakikita ko rin sa feeds na tina-tag sa akin ng mga mommies na pinapanood ng mga anak nila ‘yung show ko. At least, may natutunan ang mga anak nila. Sabi ko nga, itong Super Ma’am ang isa sa pinanonood ni Zia talaga,” Marian said.
“That’s awesome! I also see the feeds tagged to me by the mommies that their children watch my show. At least, their children have learned. I’m saying that, this Super Ma’am is one of Zia’s favorites.]
Zia is two years old this November. They will not have a big party for her. She said that they just want her to enjoy her playground.
Sometimes, it’s challenging for Marian to switch from Minerva to Super Ma’am and vice versa.
She shared that there are moments when she’d have fight scenes until 3am. And there were also days when she would shoot only fight scenes. She enjoys filming her fights scenes.
“Pagod nga lang talaga especially nagpa-fight scene ako na naka-heels! Mahirap talaga. Tapos paulit-ulit ang ginagawa dahil kailangang angguluhan,” Marian shared.
[I’m really tired especially playing a fight scene with heels! Really hard. Then you’ll shoot it over and over again because they have to shoot it from different angles]
As a result of workload, she brings her child to a child’s playground.
“Ang dami ko ngang kalmot kasi ang liliit ng mga puzzle na, anong tawag doon? Yung mga obstacle something! Kung saan ang gusto niya doon din ako sumusuot! Siyempre kailangan kong bantayan. Baka ma-out of balance eh ang liit-liit pa!
“Kung saan sumusuot, suot din ako. Diyos ko, anak!’”
[I’ve got lots of scratches because of the little puzzles, what do you call that? The obstacles– something! Where she wants me to be, I’ll go there! Of course I have to watch her. She might even be out of balance because she’s still small!]
How about her quality time with Dingdong?
“Dumarating naman yon. Lagi kaming nag-uusap ‘pag may time! Mas maluwag ang schedule niya. Ang ganda-ganda naman ng movie niya kaya worth it,” shared Marian.
“Siyempre baka mahirapan ako dahil marami akong fight scenes. Kung mabuntis ako, sa palagay mo magpa-fight scenes ako? Sabi niya, walang ganoon-ganoon. Kaya ko daw! Kakayanin ko raw!
“Sabi ko nga, nasa Panginoon kung pagkakalooban kami. Pero sabi ko nga, ipinagdarasal din namin kasi magdadalawang taon na si Zia. Kailangan na niya ng baby brother or sister. Ano naman ang ipagkaloob. Soon,”
[We always talk when we have time. His schedule is more lax. His movie is so beautiful and it’s worth it. Of course I cant get pregnant because I still have fight scenes. If I get pregnant, do you think I will still be able to do fight scenes? Not anymore. He said though, I can. I have to. But like what I said, it’s up to the Lord if he grants us. We are praying for it since Zia is turning 2. We wish for a baby brother or sister. Whatever will be given to us. Soon.]
