It looks like Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are ready for baby number two now that they’re unica hija, Zia, is almost two years old.
There were requests from Dingdong’s parents and Marian’s parents that they want a new “apo”.
The family of Dong and Yan are close, which is why every Sunday, if not in Dingdong’s place, the family bonds together at Marian’s place.
Dingdong is traditional. When he was married to his wife, Yan, they would spend every Sunday with their families either Dingdong’s or Marian’s.
Dingdong will star in a new Star Cinema movie. He plays the role of the 2nd son (Bryan) will have a conflict with his Kuya Allan (played by Aga Muhlach), because of their status differences in which Dong is a successful person than his Kuya Allan who is left behind to take care of their family business and to care for their sick father played by Ronaldo Valdez.
“Ang sa amin, tuwing Linggo nandon kami sa bahay ng mommy ko. Kahit hindi pa kami kasal ni Yan talagang nandon kami every Sunday. Pero ngayon kahit meron na kaming sariling pamilya tinutupad pa rin namin ‘yung promise na ‘yun pati na din sa family na rin ni Marian”.
[To us, on Sundays we went to our mommy’s house. Even though we were not married, Yan really did us every Sunday. But now even though we have our own family we still keep the promise that it is Marian’s family.]
In an interview, Dingdong was already hinting that he and Marian would want to have another child next to Zia.
Both in-laws (both sides) are already looking for a brother for Zia. “They want another apo,” said the actor.
Dingdong said they are not planning but whatever will be given to them, they will gladly accept.
The actor’s last movie is the box-office hit “The Unmarried Wife” in 2016.
In Seven Sundays, aside from Kuya Aga, who is Dingdong’s idol since he was a kid, he is also joined by Cristine Reyes and Enrique Gil in the movie directed by the box-office director Cathy Garcia- Molina from Star Cinema showing tomorrow, Oct. 11 in theaters nationwide.
