Marian Rivera denies speculations that ‘Super Ma’am’ will end soon

Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera was surprised when she got asked if her top-rating comeback series Super Ma’am will say goodbye sooner than expected.

Rumors are going around that the action fantasy-series will be cut short and Marian was asked if she can confirm it.

Marian denies such rumors. She said there is no truth to it. As a matter of fact, she was asked to sign a new contract indicating extension of her show.

“Wala naman akong narinig na ganun,” said the Kapuso superstar “Pinapirma nga ako ng panibagong contract eh. Walang sinabi na paiikliin,” she added.

[I have not heard of such news. They even asked me to sign a new contract. Nobody said it will be shortened.]

So, it might be true then. When asked to sign a new contract, it only means that the show will be extended, not shortened.

Well, according to Marian, it’s too early to say that the show will be extended since it just started. But Marian is really very happy with how the show is performing in the ratings.

As a matter of fact, their rival show Ang Probinsyano by FPJ is only ahead by less than 1% of them. This is considering the fact that AP has been on air for years, while Super Ma’am has just premiered last September 18.

That’s why even though she has to shoot tough fight scenes, she’s totally okay about it. She said she’s very inspired to work everyday.
