Kapuso star Marian Rivera surprised her “nanay-nanayan” Rita Avila and her friend Arnold Clavio when she appeared on a book signing at the Manila International Book Fair last Sunday at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
Rita was dumbfounded when she saw Yan Yan. She figured it was the reason Marian was ignoring her text messages.
Marian was planning a surprise visit to her book launch. The veteran actress posted on Instagram and Facebook a photo of Marian at her book launch.
“Yun, o!!! Kaya pala dedma sa text ko…may maitim na plano. Hihihi! Thank you Yanyan. Malaking bagay ang ginawa mo. Pagpalain ka pa lalo ng Diyos @marianrivera.”
“Basta para sayo Nay!” Marian replied.
Jean and Jennica Garcia are also part of Rita’s book launching.
The Invisible Wings is the third installment of Rita’s new creation.
After visiting Rita’s booth, Marian was in the booth of Arnold Clavio for the book signing of his book Igan @ 30.
The broadcaster-journalist also thanked GMA Primetime Queen for the event. Actually, Marian didn’t seem to be tired at all when she visited the book launch.
Prior to getting there, she brought joy to the teachers at the 10th anniversary celebration of the PLDT’s Guide Guro Foundation at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Marian is such a true friend. She has a genuine heart because even when she’s tired and had a full day, she made sure to visit a meaningful event for the people close to her.
