Marian Rivera-Dantes took an almost three years of break from primetime TV. She chose to mellow down and focus on being a wife to husband Dingdong Dantes and an awesome mom to their cute little princess Maria Letizia Dantes or Zia.
But Marian is back! She is so back! The queen is back!
She’s back on our primetime screens in GMA 7’s newest offering, “Super Ma’am”.
In the series, she plays a teacher-slash-super hero that fights off mythical creatures called Tamawos.
Marian, known for her many fantasy roles, loved the storyline of Super Ma’am when it was offered to her.
Marian is really someone to admire as she chooses her projects carefully and thoughtfully.
“Sobrang nakaka-proud kasi tatlo ang nilatag nila na soap, na kung ano ang magugustuhan ko,” she reveals about what her network laid on the table for her.
Since having her big break as MariMar in 2007, Marian is thankful for the support her network continues to give her all these years.
Madali siyang kausap, especially the cast sobrang good vibes lahat. At maganda rin na meron akong one-on-one with Direk (LA Madridejos) kung papaano namin huhubugin ang character ko bilang Minerva hanggang siya ay maging Super Ma’am,” she shared.
Marian also said that the project “Super Ma’am” is perfect for her because she had always dreamed of becoming a teacher.
Now that she’s a mom, she also had to be careful about her super hero costume. In the past, Marian had very revealing costumes for such as the two-piece bikini that Darna wore.
Just how much skin did she show?
“Just my tummy, to show everybody that I don’t have stretch marks. So choose the best, taas o baba ba ang i-expose ko?
