In the press conference of Super Ma’am, Marian Rivera was asked how true it was that she hand-picked and personally chose her co-actors for the series.
She said she did not choose it entirely.
It was still up to the directors but the network still asked her about the selected artists for the series Super Ma’am.
She said, “May mga iba na tinanong talaga nila ako, especially Kim (Domingo), ayan. Talagang sinabi ko, si Kim talaga isasagot ko [kung tatanungin ako].
My God, si Kim, pantasya siya, ‘tsaka perfect siya para sa character. Maganda siya, sexy siya, mabait siya, tapos magaling naman umarte. Ang bait bait niya.”

She added that she is also very happy on the set of her new series because the work feels lightweight with her co-actors.
She said, “Lahat naman ng trabaho ay may pressure, pero wala na ako doon, eh.
Ang gusto ko lang ay gawin ko ng maayos ‘yung trabaho ko, at masaya akong nagtatrabaho. ‘Tsaka meron akong mga bagong kaibigan [dahil sa show na ito], itong mga cast na parang isa [na sa mga] pamilya ko na. Masaya na looking forward ako pumunta sa taping kasi ang gagaan nila katrabaho.”
