Marian Rivera on Dingdong Dantes as her director: “Yung totoo, parang ayoko nang gawin Ha!”
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera seems to be worried in a special episode of her hosting job in GMA-7 drama anthology “Tadhana”, where Dingdong Dantes will be the director.
“Sabi ko nga sa kanya, ‘Mahal, sa totoo lang, yung emosyon ko, kinakabahan na director kita, ha.’ Sabi ko, ‘Strict ka raw na director.’ Sabi niya, ‘Humanda ka dun, hindi mo ako asawa dun, direktor mo ako.’ Yung totoo, parang ayoko nang gawin!” said Marian with a laugh.
Aside from being an actor, Dingdong Dantes is also a director.
The Kapuso Primetime King directed a horror-comedy series Kakabakaba Adventures (2004), Atlantika (2006) and one segment of a film Angels (2007).
Marian admitted that they missed working together in a show. The last series they’ve been together was My Beloved last 2012.
The Kapuso actress said, “Palagi niya akong tini-text… halimbawa nasa taping ako, magse-selfie ako at ise-send ko sa kanya. Tapos ite-text niya sa akin, ‘Alam mo, nami-miss kitang katrabaho.’ E, siyempre sensitive, ngangalngal na naman ako.”
The interview was held during the launching of Marian’s new endorsement Snow Crystal White Tomato at New World Hotel last July 26.
The Kapuso mom said that she wanted to be an inspiration to all the mothers out there.
“Gusto kong i-embrace nila ang pagkakataon dahil napakasarap magkaroon ng asawa’t anak. Tapos, iinom ng Snow (Crystal White Tomato). Ewan ko na lang kung hindi ka maging snow-snow talaga,” Marian said.
Marian proudly said that she has a 19 inches waistline after giving birth to Baby Zia two years ago.
Ako lang ‘yung umaarte after kong manganak! Inaartehan ko si Dong! Ha! Ha! Ha!,” said Marian.
