Marian Rivera is ‘Super Maam’
Maran Rivera’s comeback teleserye “The Good Teacher” is now “Super Ma’am”.
The Kapuso management decided to change the title from “The Good Teacher” to “Super Ma’am” since it is a telefantasy.
Marian’s role is a teacher who has a special power that will teach a lesson to her naughty students.
Viewers are looking forward to watch the “Super Ma’am because it will give them lessons in their everyday life.
“Super Ma’am” will air in the third quarter of 2017 according to GMA Network.
“Ito talaga yung napili ko talaga na sabi ko, na-miss ko ‘tong gawin,” Marian said.
Being a hands on mom to Zia, Marian admitted that being apart from her daughter is tough.
“Na-miss ko rin talagang mag-primetime. Sabi ko, siguro time management lang. Siyempre mahirap pa rin sa akin na iwanan yung anak ko kaya kailangan i-balanse talaga,” she said.
“Super Ma’am” will be directed by LA Madridejos. Being a versatile actress, Direk LA believes that Marian is the perfect for a “Super Ma’am”.
“Ito yung concept na mahirap siyang gawin and na-miss natin si Marian,” LA said. “And you all know na ang galing ni Marian sa drama. May comedic timing siya. No-brainer actually na ito yung comeback project niya.”
Kim Domingo will play the kontrabida role in “Super Ma’am”.
“Kanina parang akong naiiyak. Sobrang saya kasi before, sa past interviews ko, sinasabi ko na na si ate ang isa sa mga gusto kong maka-trabaho,” Kim said.
Other casts include Helen Gamboa, Al Tantay, Jerald Napoles, Julius Erasga, Jilian Ward, Kristoffer Martin, Ashley Ortega, Vincent Magbanua, and Enrico Cuenca.
