Marian Rivera and Boobay are definitely your BFF Goals!
In an episode of “Tunay na Buhay” with Rhea Santos, Boobay or Norman Balbuena in real life shared some people who touched his life, including Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
They first worked together in Extra Challenge where Marian Rivera and Richard Gutierrez is the host.
“Noong una lumalayo-layo pa ako kasi natatakot sa kanila ni Richard. So palagi akong nasa kabilang tent. Tapos bigla niya (Marian) akong ipinatawag, ‘Halika nga dito, bakit ka lumalayo-layo d’yan?’, Boobay recalled.
Their friendship gone deeper and called each other as “my labs”.
Boobay added, “Siya ‘yung angel ko, siya ‘yung savior ko, sobrang bait niya. Basta, I love you.”
Boobay suffered from stroke last year and Marian helped her medical needs.
According to Boobay, Marian doesn’t want to let others know what she did to help Boobay.
Marian said, “Isa siya pinaka-inaalagaan ko talagang tao sa buhay ko.”
Because of Marian’s love to Boobay, Regine Velasquez commended, “”You are so blessed to have a friend like her.”
Meanwhile, Boobay’s good friend Ate Gay took instagram to express her gratitude to Marian for saving Boobay’s life.
She said, “Di ako nagkamali ng pakiramdam mabuting tao si Marian … salamat sa pagsagip kay boobay ha .. mamahalin ko kayo habang akoy nabubuhay .. salamat salamat salamat”
Marian, Boobay and Ate Gay worked together in Marian’s morning talk show “Yan ang Morning!”
“Yan Ang Morning” director Louie Ignacio said that Marian was updating them regarding Boobay’s condition in the hospital.
According to Philippine Star report, Marian paid almost 1 million pesos for Boobay’s hospitalization.
