“Pero sabi ko, titiisin ko talaga lahat.” Luckily, she’s blesssed with a generous supply, which sustains Zia until now. Her simple secret: Malunggay everyday. “Siguro si Aling Malunggay na ako!” she says in jest.
“Araw-raw, lahat ng ulam ko may malunggay. Kahit hindi bagay, may malunggay pa rin. Sinigang na may malunggay, chopseuy na may malunggay. Minsan sukang suka na ako tapos yung asawa ko ‘Oh may nabili akong cookies.’ ‘Malunggay nanaman?’?
