Marian Rivera brings smile to “little people”
Marian Rivera didn’t disappoint our fellow kababayan who are short in height or what they call “little people” who are looking forward to be with her on their special event.
Their leader, Toinkee Tomen, you will not see the name of Marian Rivera and simply a guest speaker was only written.
But because Marian has a big and generous heart for those who are in need, she surprised the “little people” who are very eager to meet her, thanks to her manager Rams David for making this possible.
Toinkee Tomen posted this on facebook:
“Noong nalaman ko na siya ang Ambassador for Women and Children with Disabilities, sabi ko, gusto ko siyang imbitahin para sa second event ng little people dahil kahit papaano gusto ko din na magkaroon ng awareness sa dwarfism sa celebrity side.
“So I tried, nag-send ako ng letter of invitation for her through her mana ger pero hindi ako nag- expect dahil alam ko kung gaano sila ka-busy na mga tao. At kaninang hapon sa #BIGDREAMSForLittlePeopleUnderstandingourRightsandWelfareForum, nasorpresa na lang kaming lahat sa kanyang pagdating.
“Maraming-maraming salamat Ms. Marian Rivera-Dantes sa pagdalo at pagbibigay mo ng mensahe sa aming lahat. Salamat sa inyong oras.
“To Sir. Rams, maraming-maraming salamat din po sa inyo. Hanggang sa muli. Salamat po Panginoon sa lahat ng biyaya.”
Rams David, Marian’s manager, replied “Karangalan namin ang maimbitahan sa inyung piging Toinkee Tomen. Salamat sayo dahil isa ka sa haligi ng grupo na nangangalaga sa karapatang pang tao ng mga Little People.”
And no matter what people say about Marian’s attitude, the “little people” and those children with cleft lip can attest that Marian is a good person in and out.
