Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera celebrate Philippine Independence Day in California

Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera made our fellow Pinoys happy as they join the Kapuso 119th Philippine Independence Day Celebration in California.

Kapuso Primetime King and Queen are excited to meet and greet our Kababayan in abroad.

The couple received a warm welcome during their show. Their performance is the highlight of the whole-day affair.

Dingdong Dantes graced the audience with his song number while Marian had a dance showdown with a lucky fan. The couple also sings together on stage.

On Dingdong Dantes’ Instagram post, he said that it was an honor to represent GMA-7 in celebration of Philippine Independence day in Carson, California.

After their show in Carson, they went to a quick getaway in Redondo Beach.

Marian Rivera posted on Instagram, “Breathing in just the right kind of mood after a long and fun work-cation. #MuniMuniMunaSiNanay.

According to Marian, OFWs are close to her heart and an inspiration for her. Marian is the host of the newest Kapuso program, TADHANA, which tackles the life of Overseas Filipino Workers.

She said, “Hindi biro ang malayo sa mga mahal natin sa buhay. God bless talaga sa kanila.”

They’ve been in the US for two weeks and had the chance to meet their relatives and friends.

After their show abroad, Marian Rivera will start taping for her new Kapuso teleserye, “The Good Teacher”.
