Dingdong Dantes is ready to be Raquim of ‘Encantadia’
24 Oras was able to interview Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes on his second day of training for Encantadia.
Dingdong said, “I remember what was taught me 10 years ago. Of course there are new lessons, the weapons have evolved.”
The actor is grateful to GMA for entrusting him with the role of Raquim.
“The role of Raquim is important, he is one of the characters who will lay the foundation of the story. He will explain the situation involving the gemstones of Encantadia,” said Dingdong.
Apart from training for his fight scenes, the actor is also preparing for his scenes inside the mines. The Raquim character is a master swordsman in the Encantadia world but worked as a skilled miner in the mortal world, .He had to conceal his identity in the mortal world (with his daughter Amihan) for their protection.
