I just wanted to give a light take on my personal experience, but was misinterpreted. . .

Marian’s official statement translated in english:

“We are all victims of traffic, and we have our own ways of how we cope with the situation. The question they asked me during the interview, if you will watch and listen to the full clip carefully, the question was about my ways how i personally deal this problem (traffic).

That’s why i answered it truthfully, I just wanted to give a light take on my personal experience, but was misinterpreted.

I’m not particularly pertaining to everyone
and most of all i am not imposing it as a lesson to the public.

If only Philstar is more responsible with their headline and if they did not edited out the question in the original video, my answer will not be taken out of context.

I stand by my answer and i take full responsibility. I also want to apologize to the people who were hurt and annoyed, it was not my intention. I will be more careful next time and hopefully publications like philstar as well.

I acknowledge the hardship that my fellow filipinos are going through because of the worsening traffic. We could have use the time wasted because of the traffic to be with our love ones.
