Dingdong Dantes expressed his support for his ninang Kris Aquino in connection with the recent encounter with particular opposition to Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson.
The actor said that he understands what his Ninang is going through.
“Of course, I know what she’s going through and me, for me, obviously I have what’s right and wrong based on my values. So of course, I just showed her that I understood her, I know it’s not easy for her to do that and we’re here to show her love, “Dong said.
What was his reaction when he saw ASEC Mocha’s video post compared to Pres. Rodrigo Duterte in the old video of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino who is also kissing two women while on the plane?
“I do not want to comment on that, it’s just my support for Kris,” he said.
Do they talk to Kris? “We text,” Dong said.
Meanwhile, the box-office gross of Sid & Aya (Not A Love Story) boxed at 100M mark in 9 days of showing base on Viva Films post yesterday. When we talked to Dong, the actor was very happy with the success of the movie.
“We are thankful to all viewers for their overwhelming support to Sid & Aya. “When we did this, we were really afraid as actors and filmmakers. It’s not a typical storytelling, it’s risky.
“But really, when there is a big risk. When they like it, it will be good. Well, let’s all bet on this type of storytelling – Irene’s kind of storytelling.”Dong said.
Sunshine Dizon also co-talent of Dong at PPL Entertainment and director Joyce Bernal and Mark Reyes were also present in the block screening in support of Dingdong and Anne Curtis.
