Kapuso Queen Marian Rivera has it all. And she obviously can’t ask for more than her happy family life on top of her flourishing showbiz career.
Is she afraid of losing her stardom?
Without missing a beat, Marian answered, “Hindi lahat ng tao nabibigyan ng pagkakataon na maranasan kung ano ang nararanasan ko. So, dun palang, thankful na ako. [Not everyone is given the chance to live the life that I live. So, just from that, I’m already thankful.]
“And alam naman nating lahat na kailangan tanggapin natin ang katotohanan na, may bata at may batang dadating in showbiz, at tatanda at tatanda ka din.

[And we all know that we have to accept the truth that someone younger will come along and I will eventually get old.]
“At sabi ko talaga, hindi ako takot maging matanda.”
[And like what I said, I’m not scared to grow old.]
The Kapuso Queen emphasized that her life with husband Dingdong and daughter Zia away from the glitz and glamor of showbiz is what truly makes her feel complete.

“Hindi ako takot na dumating ako sa point na, ‘Ay, may kulubot na yung mukha ko. Ay, 30 na ko, ang tanda ko na.’ No. Sabi ko nga, tumatanda ako na may na-achieve ako sa buhay ko at masasabi ko whole ako.” [I’m not scared to come to the point when I’m 30, and wrinkly. I’m old. Like I said, even when I get old, I have already achieved what I want to achieve in life and I can say that I am whole.]
[Because I have a daughter, I have a husband that married me.]
“So, doon pa lang, buong-buo na buhay ko, e.”
[Just for that, my life is already complete.]
Last question, as an only child, does Marian want a big family?
She hemmed and hawed, “More children? Gano’n? Siguro ‘yon. [More children. Yes.]
“Pero sa nangyayari ngayon, sobrang thankful ako. [But with what is happening now, I am already very thankful.]
“Ayoko naman sabihin na wala na akong pangarap, na natupad ko na lahat. No.
[I don’t want to say that I don’t have dreams, that I have achieved all of them. No.]
“Ang tao kasi, hindi nauubusan ng pangarap. Pero dapat nakokontento ka kung ano’ng meron ka.”
[People never ran out of dreams. But you have to be contented with whatever you have.]
