Marian Rivera is in full support in the event that her husband, Dingdong Dantes, decide to run as senator.
Today, February 5, 33-year-old Kapuso actress expressed her support for her husband at the press conference for her contract renewal on GMA Network.
[Dong, if ever he runs, I do not see anything bad if my husband runs. Because everyone knows, everyone here knows, how good my husband’s heart is. So, what he wants in life, I’ll support him 101 percent.]
But they have not even talked about this thing.
[I do not know. He has not said anything, did he? But if ever, like I said, if ever, well, I would support my husband whatever he wants. Because I believe in his ability and I know he’s a good man.]
Will Marian also be ready for criticisms in case Dingdong runs the elections?
So, bakit ko poproblemahin at iisipin ‘yan?
[I have not thought about that because he has not decided yet. So, why would I worry and think about it? But for me, it does not matter because, if ever, I know how much he can help.]
Dingdong was also repeatedly asked by the press if he plans to enter public service.
But in an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in August 2017, the actor said he had no intention of joining politics.
