Now that her show “Super Ma’am” has ended, Marian Rivera shared that she is looking forward to work on her next series with the Kapuso network.
According to PEP, the actress, who appeared as one of the VIP guests at the launch of Couturissimo’s first store in Makati City, shared that she is scheduled to film a new drama with the network this year, aside from doing her two shows, “Tadhana” and “Sunday PinaSaya.
However, Rivera stated that she is unsure about the details of her new project, although she is confident that the role will fit her well.
At the same time, the actress admitted that she also missed making movies. Her last big movie was the 2014 anthology movie, “My Big Bossing’s Adventures”. She also made a cameo on the AlDub film, “Imagine You and Me”.
The Kapuso network has yet to lay down their next project for the actress.
[For the soap opera, GMA has not yet offered me anything since Super Ma’am just ended. So, I’m not sure what they will offer to me. I’m sure that they will find something that fits me because they know the best for me.]
One thing Marian that misses doing is a movie. The Primetime Queen said she’s open to accepting challenging roles that she not yet done in the past.
She shared, “I want to try something new naman na out-of-the box.”
When asked if she has a character in mind, she answered, “Marami ako naiisip pero siyempre, mahirap mag-isip ng walang konsepto so mas maganda siguro may konsepto muna kung paano ko huhugutin yung character bago ako mag-decide.”
[I am thinking of many concepts. I think it’s better to have a good concept first so I know how to mold my character before I decide.]
