Celebrities And Their Christmas Inaanaks

Some of the Kapuso stars are ready for their gifts to their godchildren or inaanak, but more than material things, they have announced that it is still important to have bonding with them.

In GMA News “Unang Balita” this Thursday, Kapuso Comedy Queen AiAi delas Alas can be called “Ninang ng Bayan” because of the amount of her inaanaks.

Some of AiAi’s godchildren include Baby Zia Dantes, daughter of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes; also Nate Alcasid, daughter of Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid.

“Zia is my newest godchild, Nate is now seven years old,” AiAi said.

The bonding is important for AiAi, so there was a video with Zia and their singing session.

“Christmas is for loving, for giving. Actually ‘yung iba, dapat nga, isipin natin na lahat naman, araw-araw, dapat nagbibigayan tayo. Araw-araw nagmamahalan,” Ai-Ai said.

[Christmas is for loving, for giving. Actually, for others, we must think, every day, we have to be grateful. Every day we give love.]

Kapuso actress Yasmien Kurdi is also a godmother of Alex Jazz and Katie, the kids of Starstruck batchmates Jennylyn Mercado and Katrina Halili.

Yasmien is also ready for her Christmas gifts to her inaanaks, though she is busy with the taping of Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka.”

Her godchildren are welcome to her home, as well as her friends and associates.

“Siguro magluluto lang ako sa house, tapos kung sinong friends ang gustong dumating or families, welcome silang kumain,” Yasmien said.

[Maybe I will just cook at the house, then friends who want to come or families, they are welcome to eat.]

Even though she played a villain in Encantadia, Glaiza de Castro is actually a very loving ninang. She is the godmother of the newborn Baby Stellar, daughter of her friend Chynna Ortaleza.

Glaiza wants to be a good example to her godchildren because the role of being a ninang is important.

“Iga-guide mo siya talaga every chance that you have. Para ka na ring mga magulang in a way. So dapat maging mabuting example ka sa kanila,” says Glaiza.

[You have to guide them every chance that you have. You are like a parent to them. You can also be a good example to them.]
