Marian sees herself in Maine Mendoza

The netizens noticed that Maine Mendoza once ordered a flower arrangement in Flora Vida, owned by Marian Rivera.

Aside from being the two of the biggest Kapuso stars, Marian and Maine both belong to Triple A’s talent management under Tony Tuviera.

According to Marian, Maine and her have been talking for a long time and she considers Maine as one of her close friends.

“Nakakatawa kasi… alam mo, once lang ako nag-post about Meng, kasi nakakatawa siyang kausap.

[It’s funny because … you know, I just posted about Meng [nickname of Maine], because it’s funny to talk to her.

And people do not know that we talk often. I just posted about us once, when I met each other. I was just happy with our conversations. We have a lot of secrets. ]

Marian said that the people did not know, but she immediately enjoyed Maine’s company and personality when they had over several telephone conversations.

They have not had the opportunity to bond outside, but Maine is one of the few close friends she has in the showbiz.

[They say, it’s okay, to have a few true friends, as long as you know who’s really there for you. It’s not only because we have the same manager. It’s just really a connection that we have. I just see myself, my attitude in her]

Marian’s most favorite thing about Maine is her sense of humor.

“Iba din yung sense of humor ng batang yun.

“Gusto ko yung sense of humor niya.

[Her sense of humor is really something. I like her sense of humor. She is funny. I see myself. When we talk, the terms we use. She’s a real person, too.]

She’s also sometimes advise to play Maine because Marian thinks that Maine is usually misunderstood.

She added, “Matatag din yung bagets, e. Matapang siya.”

[It’s just me. I told her, that’s really the showbiz, e. Sometimes when you’re an actress, that’s the price we have to pay-you become a public property. All your actions, your moves, and of course all the people to please.

It’s important that you enjoy yourself, you are true to yourself, and there is so much love for you. This girl, Maine, she’s really brave.]
