Marian Rivera is a “Pillar of Hope”

Super Ma’am star and Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera is beyond honored that Eton International School hailed her as a ‘Pillar of Hope’ at their United Nation’s Day celebration.

The Kapuso royalty shared on her Instagram post yesterday, October 29 that this recognition is a humbling experience for her.

[I thank the students of Eton for choosing be as a Pillar of Hope awardee. It humbles my heart to know that the youth give recognition to my work and most especially my advocacy.]

[I am a person who believes that one should fight for what she believes in. I am a woman that believes in every woman’s right especially the mothers. And I am a mother who believes in the strength of the youth.]

But the actress stressed that the true ‘Pillar of Hope’ is the youth and she believes that getting the title is a reminder that she must always be a role model for them.

#PillarOfHope #MaramingSalamat

[This is a huge honor, to be recognized as an example of hope. But in my heart, i know that the youth is the true symbol of hope. They carry the future that we all hope for.]

Eton International School also posted a photo of Marian at their Instagram account that reads:

“Our Pillar of Hope for Women Empowerment.”

Thank you Eton International School for the recognition!
